Primary Industries

Students from Primary Industries travelled to Gympie to compete in the Beef Liaison Group-Gympie Carcass Classic Competition

Our students have been honing their skills at our local Streater Family Butchery and recently visited Teys Australia in transit to Gympie for more product exposure.

They also enjoyed a lamb tenderloin lunch at the UNE Armidale Meat Science Centre before a facility tour and meat judging refresher training.

The team took on the Beef Liaison Group- Gympie Carcass Classic Competition.

We are so very proud of them coming away with Champion team in all 3 divisions and Peter McCormack awarded Reserve Champion individual.
