Japanese Student Tour

From Osaka and back an International Odyssey

Our International Students from Osaka -Japan made many friends, food and fun when visiting our school earlier this term. Over 2 days we hosted 2 different groups of students and several support staff. They had the opportunity to learn some "Aussie terms" and practice their "G,day!" with Mr Peter Olah. Then we had cooking with our Food Technology team, Mary Van Putten, Aeron Heffernan and Sonia Cuthbert. They also had the opportunity to record a traditional Japanese song with our music team and students (recorded link below). Next they enjoyed the energised talents of the "Indigenous Outreach Project" and to top it off they had an EAL class in the library with Long Van Smith. The day was complete with amazing morning tea and lunch provided by out canteen Sam and Jasmine, who supplied many favourites including "Fairy Bread" and "Party pies."
