Important VTAC Information

Students and families of our current Year 12s need to know about two important meetings coming up this term:

VTAC Assembly: Wednesday 2 August, periods 1 & 2

A year level assembly that will instruct our students on how to use the VTAC website and establishing personal applications to universities and tafes. Without this knowledge, students will find it difficult to apply for the course that they want. This assembly will allow students time to complete their profiles and work on applications.

Parent Information Evening: Tuesday 8 August, 5pm - 8pm

The second parent information evening for the year. All students and parents are encouraged to attend. The assembly will also cover VTAC information for parents and there will be an opportunity for Q&A with the Careers and Year 12 Team. That will be held here at the college in the Performance Centre, it’s possible this may finish early.

A NEW Club for Senior DSC students:

Tinkerspace

If you have a passion for creativity, crafting and creating, we would like to introduce you to Tinkerspace! Tinkerspace is a group that was created to allow Senior School students to develop ‘tinkering’ skills and express their creativity.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, pop across to the Tinkerspace Garage near K-Block at Monday or Thursday lunchtimes in the coming weeks and have a chat to Anthony, Aaron and Lucas about getting involved. They will be able to talk to you about some ideas for future Tinkerspace projects and show you the current build – a petrol-powered go-kart!

Spots are limited, so make sure to come and have a chat ASAP. You can also sign up using this form:
