Foundation 100 Days of School

On Wednesday of last week our Foundation students celebrated 100 Days of School for 2023. They came to school dressed at a person who is 100 and they participated in class celebrations around the number 100 for the day. May of the teachers were also looking surprisingly old that day....?

Some of their writing samples are shown below - we are so proud of their sentences about 'If I was 100 years old.....'

Principal's Day

On Friday of last week school's celebrated Principal's Day. Principals’ Day is an initiative by the Victorian Principals Association. Celebrated in schools across the country, Principals’ Day is about recognising the efforts of principals and assistant principals in achieving excellence in education.

Liam, April, Kate and I were very spoilt on the day with a special morning tea, a wonderful video message from the students and a huge pile of cards from grades across the school. We all feel very lucky and grateful to be able to lead and work in such a wonderful school community, and it was very heart-warming to receive thanks from so many.

Kids Disco

A huge thank you to our wonderful Parents & Friends Committee for arranging a hugely successful Kids Disco on Friday night. Literally hundreds of students danced the night away in both the Junior and Senior Disco with glow sticks galore. Thanks also to our wonderful volunteer parents who helped with supervision on the night.

Well done to all of our families that observed the traffic management plan and only drove one way down Churinga Ave for a safe and speedy drop off. The parking issues were almost non-existent, which was a huge improvement on last year.

Netball and Soccer

A huge congratulations to both our Girls and Boys Soccer teams and also the mixed Netball team. Our boys Soccer are advancing to Regionals and so are the mixed Netball team! Go Rangeview! Well done Mr Clark, Ms Hubbard and Mr Anderson.
