Eucalyptus House

Hi, my name is Eleanor H and I am the Year 9 SRC for Eucalyptus. 

We are extremely proud of the Eucalyptus students who participated in the Chorales event at the end of Term 2. The group of students sang ‘Can't Stop the Feeling’  by Justin Timberlake. We were awarded first prize and this was an amazing effort. We also congratulate the other Houses who sang their chosen song well. 

We are planning for Cultural Week later in the term, featuring a number of food trucks with more variety and types of food, as well as performances by a number of cultural groups. We're also continuing to raise funds for our charity, ‘Backpack for Kids Victoria’, by holding a sporting competition and selling goods.

I undertake some Community Service outside of school and like to bring some of my ideas to the rest of the SRC members. For my Youth Development class, I help at a local primary school and assist teachers and students in the classroom. I enjoy helping others.

Students are selecting their subjects for next year and have been meeting with the House Leadership Team. This is important for students as they are thinking about the subjects they want to learn about and their future career pathway.
