Banksia House

Hello everyone, I am Mojtaba H, the student representative for Year 9 Banksia. 

I want to welcome everyone back to Term 3! I hope you all had a great holiday and are ready to start the term with enthusiasm and eagerness.

Being a part of the SRC is something that I really enjoy and I know that when I am in Year 11 and 12, I'll smile when I reflect back on this wonderful experience and the memories. 

I'd like to start by congratulating Banksia, who came in first place at the Athletics Carnival. It's truly amazing to see the results of our collective effort and practice. In the upcoming term, there are more fun events and opportunities for all students such as Multicultural Day. Dandenong High School is a place where all cultures are respected and celebrated, therefore Multicultural Day is an opportunity for all students to exhibit their traditional clothes, giving us a glimpse of their culture, so I hope everyone is excited. 

This term, one of our main goals is fundraising, which involves working together as a team to sell lollipops to other students so that we can raise money for those who have been impacted by cancer. So, I want to encourage all students to take part and contribute to making a difference, because it will. 

Thank you and I hope everyone is well rested and prepared for this new term with lots of new upcoming events and activities.
