STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

On the 8th of July I travelled to Brisbane to compete in the 2023 Oceania Presidents Cup for taekwondo. 

It was such a privilege to be able to partake in this competition and to receive the result I wanted was a bonus. After 2 tough fights I came away with bronze medal in the Junior female -52kg division. 

The excitement and anticipation leading up to the competition was immense and the day itself was an amazing experience that enabled me to learn new skills and put into practice the training I had done. 

It was such a great chance to compete in this competition after an injury setback and to come away with a medal was incredible. This is credit of the hard work my parents and coaches put in. The hours of training. The trips out to my club Notorious which is in Airport West 4 times a week. 

All of this helped me to get this result and will continue to assist me in improving and striving for my best.
