IB - SPANISH EXCURSION

On Tuesday 20th on June, the IB Spanish class went on an excursion to see “Llenos de Gracia” (“Full Of Grace”), a movie currently playing at the Spanish Film Festival in Melbourne CBD. 

The movie was a great comedy and also inspirational, all of us really enjoyed it. After the movie, we made our way to Brunswick, where we ate at an authentic Latin American restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and ordering our food in Spanish made it so much more rewarding. !Nosotros gustamos mucho de la experiencia y temenos muchos aprendios nuevos!

PLAYING HANDBALL INTERNATIONALLY

One of our Year 8 students – Antonio Camargo Silva – played in two international Handball championships representing his home team, Brazil.

This vacation I went to Europe with my team, to play two championships. One in Granollers, Spain and the other one at Gothenburg, Sweden. It was great. First we went to Spain and stayed in a school. We visited the Camp Nou at Barcelona and met one Brazilian handball player. We finished the championship in third place. After the Granollers Cup we took a flight to Gothenburg and went to another school, where we slept during the Partille cup. We finished the championship in fifth place. After we lost in the quarter finals we had two free days, and we went to an amusement park.
