From the Principal's desk

Today we welcome all families to attend our Parent/Teacher/Student conferences throughout the day. Parents and guardians are encouraged to discuss their child's progress and goals set for Semester Two. As the weather is starting to improve the students have been enjoying making full use of the school grounds and equipment, with a lot of footballs being kicked and imaginative play around the playgrounds.

At the end of this week Jorja will finish her time with TheirCare. Thank you, Jorja for your energy and enthusiasm and we wish you all the best for the future. The students will be sad to see you go. I would also like to say a huge thank you to Miss. Young for teaching the Prep students while Mr. Wright was on leave.

Events coming up:

The senior students will participate in the 'Lightning Premiership' next Wednesday on the 9th of August, good luck to all the students playing softball, netball or football. During next week the Year 5 and 6 students will be holding an expo and presenting a business they have created. The students have worked hard and completed a lot of research creating a business they would like to build. The kinder students will be coming over to visit the expo during the kinder sessions on Tuesday and Friday. On the 18th of August the Prep to Year 2 students will visit the Kyabram Fauna Park for the day.

2024 Prep Enrolments

I have enjoyed making a visit to the kinder this week, it is lovely to talk to the children and meet their perents.

Current families with a child at Numurkah PS who will commence Prep in 2024 are encouraged to pick up an enrolment pack from the office.

If you know of anyone looking to enrol at Numurkah PS for 2024, please encourage them to give the office a call or come in for a chat and a tour of the school.

Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey

A random sample of our parents and carers will receive an invite via email to participate in this year's Opinion Survey. The survey will be open from Monday 7 August to Friday 8 September 2023. The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. We encourage all families who receive an invitation to complete the survey as this helps guide the school and drive improvement for all students.
