Principal's Report

Sharon Jacobs - Acting Principal

I take this opportunity to wish all our Marlborough families a wonderful Easter and holiday break.  Term 1 has been an enjoyable 10 weeks and as a school we have achieved a lot.  As I sit and reflect on our journey so far I feel very proud of the contributions by all our parents/carers, teachers, ES and staff.  We are all working so hard for our students to provide them with a quality education, a safe and orderly environment and beautiful grounds they can play on.

Late Pick-Up of Students

I would like to remind families that normal school finishing time is 3.30 pm.  There is a yard duty teacher supervising after school until 3.45 pm only.  If you are going to be held up collecting your child/ren, please notify the office and the student/s can quietly wait in the office area until they are collected.  If you do not let the office know, then your child/ren will go to OSHC (Camp Australia). It is recommended that all families register with Camp Aust (registration is free) so incase there is a time where you are held up and will be unable to collect your child by 3.30pm then your child can go to Camp Aust where they will be fully supervised.

Chess Club and Code Club

These Clubs are a great opportunity to engage your child/ren in an after school program that increases problem-solving skills, improves memory and concentration. Learning to code hones problem-solving and analysis skills, such as finding errors and thinking logically.  Please click on this link to enrol:  Kids Unlimited Admin System - Login (ku.zone)

Resilience Survey

I would like to encourage you to complete a Resilience Survey in order to collect some key data to support the wellbeing and mental health of our parent community. The Resilience Survey is free and takes around 30-minutes to complete online. To start surveying go to:

School Name: Marlborough Primary School : PARENTS All parents use your 2023 Resilience Survey six-digit Access Code:  Access Code: 045750.

So many great things are happening at our school.  Marlborough Primary School is certainly the "place to be".

Kind regards
