Year 1

Police Visit

We had a Cyber Safety incursion on Monday 1 May with our Monash Youth Resource Officer, Senior Constable Heath Williams.

Teddy Bear Hospital

We're looking forward to the Teddy Bear Hospital visit to Year 1 on Wednesday 17 May. There will be two sessions at school between 9am and 1.30pm.

Marvellous Minibeasts!

The Year 1 Minibeast Wildlife incursion will be held on Monday 22 May as part of our Integrated Unit of study this term. All students will participate in a one hour session that will offer students an amazing experience with live native wildlife and invertebrates. The sessions are very hands-on and the children are able to get up-close-and-personal with all the animals, as well as touch many of them. The incursion will be run by Mini Beast Wildlife. Their kit of animals includes some of Australia's most spectacular minibeasts , including huge stick insects, giant burrowing cockroaches, rainforest snails, giant praying mantids, tarantulas, scorpions, huge centipedes, massive millipedes, beetles, rainforest crickets and more.

Incursion information has been published on Compass. Consent and payment of $16 is due now and not later than 15 May. CSEF can be used for this activity; please contact Barb or Cassy in the Office to check your CSEF balance.

It is going to be an amazing fun-filled experience.
