Grandparents & Special Friends Day

Grandparents and Special Friends Day was held on the 6th of April, which was the last day of Term One. The day started at 11:30 and ended at 1:30. The grandparents and special friends also got to look around the school and have a picnic with their grandchild/children at 1:30. There were a lot of performances including Chamber strings, Chamber Choir, 3/4 choir and the Year Fives singing with their buddies!

Students had a choice to leave at 1:30 with their grandparents, or they could stay and play for an extra hour, and leave at 2:30.

The day was fun and amazing!!!

ANZAC Day

On 26th of April, there was a ceremony at the basketball court to pay respects to the soldiers that fought for our country.

Every class made wreaths in the morning, then we had a celebration for ANZACzac Day after recess and we displayed them. Each class would choose two volunteers from the class to bring the wreath up to the basketball court/heights. Chamber strings also played Amazing Grace to mourn the soldiers that died fighting for us.
