Aussie of the Month

We are very excited to introduce a new award to GRPS - Aussie of the Month.

Aussie of the Month is awarded to a student each month that demonstrates the qualities of fairness, mateship, respect and inclusion.   

Congratulations to our April Aussie of the Month Ava Elias!

Ava an outstanding student who daily demonstrates how to be a responsible and respectful learner, treating others as she would like to be treated and being a true bucket filler through her positive feedback to others. Her smile and fantastic attitude are infectious. 

At GRPS we believe it is important to acknowledge students that are actively contributing to our community in a positive way and are consistently demonstrating our school values of respect, responsibility and a learner.

Who is your inspiration?

Me - I like to inspire and encourage myself to do new things all of the time. 

What do you want to be when you grow up?

 To own a garden shop like a nursery because I love gardening and flowers.

What is your favourite subject to learn about? 

STEM - I love to learn more about science and I love learning from Miss Rose

If someone is ever mean on purpose to you, what is your quick comeback?

People aren’t usually mean to me but if they were I would say “I don’t like that – could you please stop”

What would you do in playground if you saw someone upset?

I would always ask them if ‘are you ok? is there anyone I can get for you to help?’ but I don’t want to get too involved in others business but if I can help I will.
