Harmony Day
This year our Harmony week focused on multiculturalism – the inclusion of a variety of diverse cultures who unite to advocate equality and provide awareness for cultural discrimination. This year we held multiple events and novelties in celebration of this day, including dodgeball in the gym, the bake sale and the harmony day robot dance showdown run by the STEAM club.
Our biggest event, the Harmony Day assembly, was held on the 21st of March: this was a great opportunity to commemorate Harmony Day, with multiple outstanding performances from all year levels. Our assembly finished with a little Harry Styles performed by the junior choir and senior rock band collaboratively, ending with a mass impromptu flash mob joined and enjoyed by hundreds – definitely the highlight of Harmony Week.
