1. The Crib Point club song was originally 'Down by the Seaside' but changed to the current song (based on the American Civil War song 'Yankee Doodle Dandy') in 1967. The change was credited to Leon Bunyavitch and most probably because around this time Crib Point became part of Hawthorn's zone.

2. Melbourne current player and All Australian defender Michael Hibberd is the son of Geoff Hibberd, a member of the 1985 premiership team. Geoff was the moustached gentleman who featured heavily in the much maligned brawls video from the 80's doing the rounds on YouTube.

3. Simon Head was also a member of that 1985 premiership team. His son, Travis Head is an Australian test cricketer and captain of South Australia's state side.

4. CPFNC's youngest premiership player was Peter Hoult in 1967, 15 years and 10 months. George below was his father.

5. The first player to kick 100 goals in a season for Crib Point was Paul Tolson in 1966.

6. CPFNC can boast something that not many other clubs can. It has produced;

a) At least one AFL and premiership player in Toby Thurstens for Port Adelaide.

b) A test cricketer in Simon Cook.

c) A Brownlow medallist who played for CPFNC in 1956 and then for Richmond.

d) An NFL player with the New York Jets, Lachie Edwards.
