BrainSTEM Challenge

Our BrainSTEM Challenge Team (Merridy Mansfield, Jalillah Duncan-Berkelmans, Nadia Rush and Madi Scott) are nearing completion of their 12 week challenge. In this time they have been meeting regularly with Our BrainSTEM Challenge Team (Merridy Mansfield, Jalillah Duncan-Berkelmans, Nadia Rush and their mentors, Leah and Sarah from Gippsdairy), to investigate how they could better promote career pathways in the dairy industry to young people. The students have had the opportunity to visit local farms and Saputo to collect perspectives from relevant stakeholders. They are now developing a method to increase awareness of the opportunities and variety of career pathways available to secondary school students.

Students will present their solution to industry partners and community members on Wednesday 30th October in Morwell, along with 6 other Gippsland schools.
