Wellbeing News

Hello again!

Here is a brief update on what is happening within our department at the moment:

The ‘Woolworths fortnightly fresh fruit for students program’ is still going strong and students are now actively coming to source the extra food when hunger hits.

We are so very grateful for the ongoing support of Woolworths in supporting our nutrition and well-being program.

In addition to this, we are now launching our “Green trolley initiative’ to assist students maintain a balanced diet. We are asking our whole school community and beyond, that if they have excess fruit or vegetables growing in their gardens, to bring them in to well-being for us to share with our students.

This term we should see some activity around our vegetable gardens and school grounds. Keep an eye out for secret sunflowers that will start to pop up (hopefully) within the next few weeks.

In addition, we should also see the roll out of free sanitary products, for girls in schools this term.

We would also like to extend our support, good luck and self-confidence to our year 12 students who will soon be sitting their final exams. Our door is always open if you need to catch your breath for a second or clear your head and re focus.
