From our new canteen manager - Annette Ferlaino

Dear IPS Community

Hi I would like to introduce myself. I am your new canteen operator .

I am a mother of 3 my eldest daughter is currently studying year 12 my son is in year 11 and my 9 year old daughter is in year 4.

My background has been managing the canteen where my children attended primary school for 4 years.

For the last 4 years I have been working at a girls high school canteen .

I believe that you are what you eat and nutrition is extremely important children deserve the best they will be getting home cooked food prepared in the canteen .

I also believe that supporting local community is also very important so I will be sourcing fresh produce locally and using organic products where I can .

I look forward to getting to know the teachers , children and parents I will endeavour to provide them with the best food possible .

I am open to suggestions and will cater to dietary requirements.

Just drop off to the classroom with the lunch order baskets and the lunch order monitors will bring to me .
