Meet the Grade 1 Team - Level 3
1A Hi, my name is Susie. I have been teaching for six years and I am very excited to join SMPS next year! I am originally from NSW but I recently moved to Melbourne from the UK where I lived for three and a half years. I love to travel and see new places but I am very happy to be back in Australia, closer to my friends and family. On the weekend and after school, I like cooking, playing netball and reading. I am really looking forward to meeting you in 2020!

1C Hi, I’m Jaylee and I am very much looking forward to my graduate year at South Melbourne Primary in 2020! I completed my Master of Teaching (Primary) at the University of Melbourne in 2019 and also have an undergraduate degree in Music Theatre - so anything relating to the performing arts and theatre is right up my alley! I am originally from Mount Gambier in South Australia but have lived in Melbourne for three years now - I just love everything the city has to offer! I am very excited to get to know the entire SMPS community. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!

1E Hi, my name is Miss Sophie and I am so excited to be a Grade 1 teacher again next year! I have been teaching at South Melbourne Primary School for 2 years now and I absolutely love it. A little bit about me: I grew up in NSW on a farm where I rode horses and motorbikes. I even had two pet alpacas! I have two sisters Mimi and Poppy and we are very close. I live in South Yarra and on the weekends, you can usually find me going for a run around the Botanical Gardens or sipping on a coffee at a local café.
