5/6 T
We have had a wonderful start to 2022 in 5/6T. I am so proud of how well the students have been working this term. I hope you all have a safe and happy Easter break and I look forward to term 2!
Maths
Over the last week, we have been focussing on probability in maths. The students have been engaged in a range of games where they have been comparing the theoretical and experimental probability.
Literacy
We have been focussing on forming persuasive arguments in our writing. The students have written informal and formal letters to a range of audiences. They have been practicing using persuasive techniques in their writing as well as selecting words with impact that will appeal to their audience.
Inquiry and Ed in Faith
The students have continued their work and research about minority groups and how we can help them. This week the students have taken a close look at stories from the Bible and how Jesus was also an innovator who helped disadvantaged groups.
