3/4 V

Camp Manyung

During week 8, the 3/4s attended camp in Mt Eliza. We all had such a great time. The students recorded the main thing that they enjoyed.

Austin
The Giant swing was very fun and  went very high. The flying fox was very fast.
Jack
The free time was my favourite part because I got to explore the camp. I liked the cabins.
Thomas
I enjoyed Flying fox the most  because it was fast. Actually I was nervous at the beginning but it was fun to do it.
Olive
I loved the breakfast because I could have scrambled eggs with toast and also cereals, I had both and it was delicious.
Alisha
I liked playing hide and seek with my friends in the cabin, it was fun and everyone in the cabin became my friends. No one found me and I always scared them at the end.
Cooper
My favorite part of the camp was going into my cabin, sleeping and playing with my friends.
Aneeta
When I went to the giant swing I went to the highest point in my group. I felt like I was falling off a tree and felt very sick but happy that I did it.
Lily
I played Spotted with my friends in the cabin. I liked the flying fox because I can make it as fast or slow.
Sam
My favorite thing was the giant swing because for once I finally got to feel like I was flying. I also liked breakfast, the toast was good and the juice was yummy.
Valentina
Sharing a cabin with my friends was the best, we were talking about fun stuff and sleeping was way less boring. The giant swing was so scary because it went higher than the trees, it was fun and scary at the same time.
Harper
I was super excited to go to camp. The Giant swing and the flying fox was spectacular. I felt amazing and really brave after doing it. I played hide and seek and lots  of other games with my friends.
Lexi
My free time in the cabin was my favourite part of the camp as we played a lot in there. I played hide and seek with my friends and slept on the top of the bunk bed. I loved the flying fox, at first I was super nervous and scared but once I was in the air I loved looking  at the trees and nature around me and the end bit was a very big jolt.
Mackenzie
My favourite part  was the Giant swing, I was very scared at first but just wanted to try it and at the end I had so much fun. I liked the cabins because I spent a lot of time with my friends and I reconnected with my old friends. I liked rock pools we saw a lot of crabs and it was nice to see the waves.
Sebastian
I liked hanging out with my friends in my cabin. I also liked the rock pool ramble because it was fun looking at all the creatures, especially the crabs and all of the sea.
Max
My favourite thing was having breakfast at the camp because it was so delicious and the dinner was very yummy.
Jagger
Firstly I loved playing with my friends in the cabin. We played a new game called mindsquare, gaga was so good. The movie night was funny. I liked everything about camp.
Gianni
Me and my friends played a lot in the cabin and I enjoyed chatting with them. I liked the flying fox because it went really fast.
Holly
At the beach I found a baby crab and picked it up, it was bumpy and had sharp claws and it bit me. My favourite place was the dining room. For breakfast I got toast, hash browns and scrambled eggs. On the giant swing I went half way to the top, it was a bit scary when I looked down.
Piper
My favourite part was dinner, because it was really tasty. I enjoyed playing in the gaga pit. I loved to see all my friends in pyjamas and normal dress other than their school uniform. This was the first time I had my own sleeping bag.
Mercy
My favourite thing was the giant swing and being in our cabins because I had all my best friends in there and we played with glow sticks. I was scared to go on the flying fox but I faced my feelings and it felt really good after that.

Birthday Celebration

A note from Miss Georgia

With this being the last newsletter that goes home before the end of the term and as I won't be returning as I will be on Maternity leave, I just wanted to say a huge thank you. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with you all. I have loved watching your children grow over this term and seeing all of the potential that they have. I have been so proud of this class this term and I am sad that I won't be able to continue to watch you grow over the year. I wish you all of the best for the rest of the year.

1 more week of school and then it is 2 weeks of holidays!

We wish you a restful break and a Happy Easter!

Regards

Vanessa and Georgia
