TERM 1 SPORT INFORMATION

Last Thursday 24th February we had 8 super swimmers compete at the Murdoch District Swimming Trials. Ruby, Sarah, Kayla, Sienna, Charlotte, Oscar, William and Levi all swam excellently and did Langwarrin Primary School very proud with their efforts.

Ruby, Sarah, William and Oscar all competed last year and their results this year are a great reward for their effort. Levi, Sienna, Kayla and Charlotte were all new this year to the trials and some were relatively new to swimming altogether. Although nervous, these students performed amazingly well and swam great races in their heats.

Thank you to the parents and students for attending as we hope to continue to grow our LPS Swimming Team and their success next year and beyond.

Congratulations to all 1st and 2nd place swimmers who have qualified to swim at the Northern Peninsula Division Swimming Carnival.

Ribbons will be presented to students at the next Whole School Assembly.
