Principal's Report

Dear Families,

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS

Hopefully everyone has booked in for their Parent/Student /Teacher Interviews. I know that the teachers who have met so far with families have really enjoyed the opportunity to catch up in person and share the student’s learning journey. 

SWIMMING

Congratulations to the four students who competed in the Regional Swimming Competition last Wednesday. Sophie B came 5th in Back Stroke, Nyla A came 5th in Freestyle, Scotty M 6th in Back Stroke and Sophie, Cassin, Scotty and Nyla came 5th in the Mixed Medley Relay. What a fantastic achievement! 

LABOUR DAY HOLIDAY

Monday 14th is a public holiday. There will be no school for students.

FOUNDATION

Next Wednesday will be the first Wednesday we will have had Foundation students onsite. We have certainly been impressed with how smoothly the students have settled into the school routine. 

CAMP QUALITY

On Friday we will have along awaited visit from Camp Quality when they will present puppet shows titled: 

9:00am – Foundation & Grade 1 - ‘Caring Friend’

9:45am – Grades 2-6 - ‘Caped Crusader’

PROCEEDS COLOUR RUN

Several weeks ago students suggested books that they would like us to purchase for our reading scheme. The first group has arrived, thanks to Mrs Kimmorley and Mrs Lardiner. They have been searching online and in shops to purchase the books for the children.
