Sport Around the Grounds

We had several students participate in the Parramatta Diocesan Primary Swimming Carnival and the PDSSSC Secondary Swimming Championships. Many personal bests were achieved during these events and the following students should be extremely proud of themselves. 

Congratulations to the following students: 

James Tarr, Gabriela Tenefrancia, Tahlia Yates, Jessica Fernandes, Ethan Mateo, Krystel Arevalo and Lachlan Taylor. 

A special congratulations to James and Ethan for progressing to the next stage. James has qualified to participate in the NSWCPS Swimming Championships, while Ethan has qualified for the NSWCCC Swimming Carnival. 

This week also saw Isaac Bernardo represent St Luke’s at the Parramatta Diocesan Football Trials. Well over 100 students across the diocese expressed interest in trialing for this event and Isaac was one of the few selected to participate. An excellent achievement! 

School Cross Country Trials 

New date - Friday 1/4/22. 

Due to having to postpone this event more than once as a result of Elara Oval being closed, we have decided to reopen registration for this event based on these extenuating circumstances. Please read the following information regarding these trials which includes a permission form. If your child wishes to participate and you haven’t previously submitted a permission form, please submit the form by 4 pm Wednesday 23/3/22. No late entries past this date will be accepted.
