Alumni Applause

Meet North Melbourne's no. 22 draft pick, Josh Goater! 25th November 2021 was a celebratory day for the star alumni as his recent graduation from Sunbury College was accompanied with selection into his lifelong favourite AFL club, the Kangaroos.

Josh, who had previously played his junior and senior football at the Sunbury Lions, Calder Cannons and Vic Metro is now making his way to Arden St. 

To commemorate his performance in sports, he was awarded the Sunbury College Boys Sport Champion and was awarded colours for Athletics and AFL at his graduation ceremony.

This is what Josh had to say about the news, "I followed North Melbourne my whole life and I'm absolutely stoked to be able to be at that pick to land myself at that club," Josh in an interview with Fox Footy 

Outside of footy, Josh is also quite the talented Cricketer, bowling slow inswing and opening the bat.
