Dance 

It’s been so great to finally have everyone back onsite and in the dance studio once again! The students have revisited what we’ve learnt online for their combined assembly dance, and have been excited to finally all be dancing together in the same room once again! We have finished putting together all the combinations involved for the Year 4, 5 and 6’s routine, and are finalizing everything ready to be filmed.   Christmas Carol rehearsals have begun also for all classes involved and it’s been so great to reconnect with all year levels across the school! All students have been eager to get back into the studio after so long, and the energy throughout each class has been amazing. Each class has come in after recording their selected Christmas Carols with Mr Lapina, and have begun to put the creative dance steps to the words to help bring their song to life on stage! The Christmas spirit is alive and well in Saltwater and each class, as we have fun working together and we can’t wait to see the final result!   Victorian State School Spectacular Dancers have had an amazing run of creative rehearsals, revamping and reformatting the routines they learnt from the VSSS experience! The enthusiasm and energy in rehearsals has been so positive and uplifting, generating such excitement for the next one to begin! Each rehearsal has seen the dancers become stronger in all elements as they develop their skills further and further and reach new heights. As we have completed all the final details and changes made to the all routines, we are now set to film their final performance which will be ready for viewing soon!   Selected students from Grade 6 have also begun rehearsals for their end of year graduation performance. The students have been eager to jump back into the studio to commence their dance routine to help finish off what has already been challenging year for all. With their final weeks in sight and their graduation coming up soon, they have been focused on finishing the year strong with a performance like no other! I am beyond proud of how they have all applied themselves in this process and throughout the year, and can’t wait for them to share it with you all soon!
