Year 6 Report

Amy Jewell

I cannot believe that 2020 has come & just about gone…

It seems like it was only yesterday that we were arriving back from Summer Holidays to the Springs, setting up our classrooms and welcoming our new classes for 2020.

It is so hard to believe that a year has come and gone…

On Wednesday we officially recognised the extraordinary achievements of our Year 6 students at our Graduation Ceremony.  The dedication and drive our students showed through such testing times is to be commended.  They should all be so proud of how well they tackled each and every obstacle and pushed themselves to achieve greatness throughout a year which presented its ups and downs.

I would love to share with you the outstanding achievements and deserving recipients of our 2020 Graduation awards.  It gives me great pleasure to list our Award Winners below:

Following our Graduation Ceremony, our Year 6 students, Teachers, Learning Support Assistants, Assistant Principals, Principals and Specialists teachers attended our Celebration day.  Although we were unable to go offsite this year, students had an amazing day on our community oval.  Inflatables, a live band (Colon-D), Pizza, Ice-cream, Soft drink and chilling out was on the agenda for the day.

From what I could see, everyone who attended had a really nice time celebrating 2020.

I want to take this opportunity to state just how proud I am of each and every one of our Year 6 Students. I can’t thank the Teachers, LSA’s and Parents enough for all of their support throughout such a testing year.  I feel extremely privileged and proud to have been part of such an enthusiastic and dedicated team in 2020.  Farewell 2020 Graduates… I wish you all the very best for Secondary School.

On a parting note, I would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing Christmas Break. Please take care over the holidays and enjoy a much-deserved rest.  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your family and friends.
