Buddy Publishing 2020

Year 1/2 have loved their weekly Big Write and the variety of topics Mrs Taylor has set. They have demonstrated amazing skills, from exceptional vocabulary, precise punctuation, intriguing openers and cool connectives.  

Year 1/2 were able to choose their favourite BIG WRITE and with the support of Year 5 and 6 began publishing and illustrating their piece of writing. It was such a fun and rewarding experience… All the students loved seeing their work published and enjoyed working with an older student! 

What an end to 2020!

Christmas Week in 3/4

Year 3/4 have had a very festive Christmas Week. We started with applying for a job as a reindeer on Santa's sleigh team. The children wrote and presented their application to the selection panel (the class) and Moon the Reindeer (Olive) was the successful applicant. See below her winning application.

We have also completed some amazing Christmas Craft. 

Please find the students 2021 requirements list below;

• Art shirt – labelled
• Library bag
• Textas and/or special coloured pencils they may want to use
• Highlighters - yellow, pink, green, blue for vcop writing.
• Headphones or earbuds for each child
• Extra pens / pencils as back up
• Pencil case
• Scissors
• Years 5/6 need a geometry set
• Pencil sharpener
