National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week was held last week. Stronger smarter sessions provided time for us to learn more about the significance of NAIDOC Week. Students held discussions surrounding the importance of NAIDOC Week and explored different ways it could be promoted through posters.

Students enjoyed listening to different words in Wiradjuri language and also listened to a story called the 'Mad Magpie', which is a great example of how to deal with bullies, after all, we are all 'strong' on the inside.

The finishing touches are being made to the leaf wreath that students decorated during Term 3. The wreath will hold our Acknowledgement of Country and will be on display within the school.
