Year 9 Camp

Last Wednesday, 44 Year 9 students and 3 teachers met early at school and headed off to the Alpine School campus near Camperdown for a three-day retreat. The camp is more a leadership setting usually, as kids normally go there for nine week stays.

Over the time we did initiative activities, group bonding exercises, hikes up a volcano and surfing down at Warrnambool. The on-site staff were very friendly and gave us a memorable experience. And gave us enough table-tennis balls to get us through three days of ping pong and sting pong. More on that later.

We enjoyed the opportunity, and the camp itself, and it was great it could all be organized in such a short time period.
