Gunbower Creek Canoe Camp

Two weeks ago our Yr. 9 Steiner and VET Outdoor Recreation students enjoyed an overnight paddle trip on the Gunbower Creek. Students engaged in minimal impact travel studying canoeing techniques and the local wetland environment. We finished the paddle with a journey on the Gunbower Creek Canoe Trail which has local interpretive signs teaching students about the history and importance of wetlands for migratory birds. This was our first camp at CSC since COVID regulations changed and as a teacher it was great to get back into the outdoors with our students.
