Welcome Back

We were delighted to welcome students back to school this week. The first day was full of excitement and it was so lovely to greet the students in person. Connect tutors spent much of the morning reconnecting class groups, peers and generally providing time to readjust to learning on site. We cannot wait until 26 October to welcome back all other year levels.

Please remember that regular updates will continue to be communicated on the Compass Newsfeed.

COVID safe return - Video

We understand that the return to school may be a challenge for some and easier for others. Remember to look out for each other and ask for help if you need it.

Students are reminded to:

  • Wear a mask when they leave home and at school. Students may remove their masks when eating or drinking. Some students have a medical exception and will carry a pass
  • Hand santise when you enter and exit the building and classrooms
  • Maintain a physical distance of 1.5m whenever possible
  • Not to congregate in large groups if leaving the campus during break times (senior students only)
  • Only bring books and equipment needed for each day and take these home at the end of the day. Students must be ready to move to remote learning if we are required to close the school due to a confirmed COVID-19 positive case
  • Follow all signage and traffic arrows when moving around the school for example stairways are one direction only
  • Bring a drink bottle - drinking fountains are closed off
  • Pre-order lunch from the canteen to avoid long queues and over crowding
  • Stay home if you are unwell
