Geography - Oxley Wild Rivers National Park.

Our Year 9 Geographers spent a fun filled day at the beautiful Oxley Wild Rivers National Park (Dangars Falls)  during the first week of term. The students learnt about the unique flora and fauna that call the park home. The fieldwork was mostly comprised of mapping work and orienteering involving compasses, GPS & satellite images to find hidden clues and questions. We were very fortunate to see a threatened species, the Brush Tailed Rock Wallaby. The rain showers didn't dampen the adventurous spirit of the students who are to be commended for their enthusiasm and conduct.
