Performing Arts Update
Another exciting week in Performing Arts with many of our students performing in our collaboration school musicals.
The Drowsy Chaperone –
Mentone Girls Grammar School
The students involved were Lewis (George), Rad (Adolofo), John (Mr Feldzieg), Issac, Ronan, Xander (chorus)
The Drowsy Chaperone is an homage to American musicals of the Jazz Age, examining the effect musicals have on fans who adore them.
The show was a fantastic display of the fun, love and energy musicals give the audience, with laughs throughout and a fantastic display of vocals and dance, the boys were amazing representatives of St James College.
Big Congratulations also go to past St James alum Daniel Restaino (George) and Lachlan Mindum (Robert Martin) who also performed lead roles in the show.
We are always proud of our St James performers.
Mary Poppins – Kilbreda College
Carsten (Year 10), has recently performed in the Kilbreda production of Mary Poppins in the starring role as Mr Banks.
This is the first time we have collabrated with Kilbreda College. It was a brilliant show.
