A Cardinal at Mazenod College

Thomas Benjamin Cooray was a Sri Lankan Oblate who was the Archbishop of Colombo (1947-1976) and a Cardinal at the Vatican (1965-1988).

In 1968, Cardinal Cooray visited the Oblate community in Australia and New Zealand and was invited to open and bless the new Mazenod College at Mulgrave.

Here are some rare colour slides of Cardinal Thomas Cooray arriving to open and bless Mazenod College in 1968.
