Basketball 

Congratulations to Year 9 Student Charlie Lennon who has been selected to participate in a coaching clinic this weekend with Basketball Australia’s Director of HP Coach Development, Peter Lonergan at the Kingborough Sports Centre.

Peter is one of Australia’s leading coaches and one of the best basketball clinicians in the world. He will be presenting on spacing and cutting concepts, which will be applicable to coaches at all levels.

Well done Charlie!

Surf Lifesaving 

Congratulations to Year 7 student Xavier Wright and Year 8 student Ethan Leary who both competed with distinction at last weekend's State Junior Surf Lifesaving Championships hosted by Carlton Park SLSC. Both boys significantly contributed to their club (Carlton Park) winning the overall points trophy.

Xavier placed 1st in the U13 beach relay and 3rd in the board relay, board resuce and surf team.

Ethan placed 1st in the U13 sprint, flags, beach relay, all age relay and 3rd in the surf teams.

Well done boys....huge effort!
