2021 NMPS House Cross Country

What a wonderful, sunny day it was last Friday 12 March for our annual Cross Country event, our first Cross Country event in 3 YEARS!!

With team spirits high and some outstanding costumes and house colours on show, we started the morning with the 12/13 year old students running two laps of the Native Grassland Circle in Royal Park. The enthusiasm really picked up throughout the day as the younger 8-11year-old students competed in their events, with a lot of these students taking part in their first-ever cross country race.

Results were extremely close! The declared winner achieved:

• the highest number of participants for their house
• bonus points for placing in the top 10 finishers

Congratulations GREEN HOUSE who held on for a memorable victory, taking out bragging rights for the next 12 months!

Congratulations to all students on their fantastic efforts and good luck to the top five students from the 10-12 year-old groups who will progress through to the District Cross Country event, held in Week 1 of Term 2.
