Hello, 

Having returned from the recent circuit breaker lockdown, it is incredibly important that we support our students by maintaining as much routine and predictability as possible both at home and at school. 

The high expectations that we have for our students in terms of their uniform, behaviour and school attendance are always in place. We anticipate that students will return from any lockdown period in full school uniform as outlined in the uniform policy and communicated to all students consistently and in many forums across the college. We will often do a uniform check and these will be a regular occurrence. 

With the recent lockdown, the issue of students having a digital device has never been more important to ensure continuity in learning for your child if we have a sudden announcement. As well as our own JB HiFi BYOD program accessible on our college website, students are welcome to bring in any laptop or iPad that they wish to use on the college network. Students are able to get free copies of the Microsoft Office suite and a range of other free software using their student account. The use of a device that students can use at home and not only allows them to complete their work, it also is a vital tool that students need to use beyond school in tertiary study or the workforce.
