Student Achievement Awards - 15th March

Reyaan demonstrated determination and creativity after our Bubble Party for Big Talk. He listened to his sounds and wrote the sentence "We like the bubbles". Keep on shining Reyaan!

Eleanore has taken an active interest in learning about phonics. She eagerly listens to the sounds and blends them together to make a word. You should be proud of all your hard work Eleanore!

Dinu, you are always a kind and helpful member of 1J. This week you have been putting extra effort into your writing to remember your finger spaces and to write full sentences. Well done, keep up the great work!

Great work on your counting by tens and ones Jon. You have mastered counting a group of ten as 10 and then counting on from that. Congratulations Jon. Keep up the great work.

Ben you've been writing such creative, fun and interesting narratives this week. You have included some fictional characters, epic problems and solutions. It's been fantastic to see you edit and uplevel your excellent work! You should be really proud.

Zoe, you have used your time effectively and put in so much effort in writing this week. You did a wonderful job of writing three possible solutions after reading the book 'Stuck'. Congratulations and keep up the fantastic work, Zoe!

Congratulations Maaike, your confident and expressive reading of Chapter 14 of 'James and the Giant Peach', was attentively listened to by the students. 3P was very impressed by your efforts. Thankyou for engaging your audience and reading with such zest and enthusiasm.

I have been extremely impressed with all of Olivia's work habits in class this term. She listens carefully to instructions in order to improve her understanding and apply it to her work.

Wesley, you showed wonderful persistence when tackling vertical multiplication this week. You were able to talk through the process to help you work it out and never gave up! Well done and keep up this positive attitude!

Aarush has been demonstrating a very positive attitude to his learning, during small group reading lessons. Aarush was able to make really good predictions about what might happen next in the story by referring to clues found within the book. Great work, Aarush!
