Inside the Classrooms & Around the Grounds

Our Year 5 and 6 students attended a 'come and try' session for our Solar Car and Boat Program this week.  The students were assisted by Ian and Steve (volunteers from the community), and enjoyed working in teams to create a solar boat.

In Team Building, Year 2 students worked in small groups and used MAB blocks to create weird and wonderful characters. They then used their understanding of place value to work out the total value of their character.  

In Inquiry Year 2 students have been learning about how we change as we grow older and wiser. Students worked in small groups to draw and write about the different life stages.
