Inter-school Cricket

Year 7 Inter-school Cricket

On Friday the 12th February the Year 7 cricket team went to JD Donath Reserve, Keon Park. With only two training sessions, we were in for our first game of the day, up against Northcote High School. We were exceptional, trying our absolute best. 

During the game we bowled and fielded fantastically. We had to improve on some errors from the game which were making contact with the ball when batting. Some players were unlucky by getting caught. Our total runs were 35 and Northcote had 53 runs. 

In our second game we played against William Ruthven Secondary College. Again we played fantastically and we improved on our errors from the last game, getting 6 runs against their 38. Special Thank you to our team for putting in the effort and trying our best: Moksh Sharma, Haydar Sleiman, Thomas Aghatnious, Eleijah Aleki, John Manias, Ari Exahos, Darko Popkoski, Ryemar Sasulu, Goran, Sinoski, Mahti Alrahmawave, Noorali Hussain. We also want to thank coach Mr Cobb and Jackson Ward from Year 9 (Assistant Coach) for helping us and encouraging us along the way.
