PE UNIFORM

Please ensure students wear their PE uniform on their scheduled day. With the cold Winter weather setting in, it's a wise idea to also have a long sleeved thermal/compression gear underneath their polo top in either white or navy. Students should also remember to bring their school jacket, casual wear hoodies are not acceptable uniform.

BEACHSIDE CROSS COUNTRY

Congratulations to our 8 runners who participated at the Beachside Cross Country. Originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday 31st May, it was postponed due to weather warnings - students got their chance to run on Friday 3rd June.

Congratulations to Spencer Buck, Tilly Monaghan, Eden Moloney, Liam Pert, Harry Hopgood, Milly Surkitt, Jesse Byers and Bella Monaghan.

GOOD OL' HARRY HOPGOOD

A round of applause for Harry Hopgood who placed 6th at the Beachside Cross Country and qualifying for the South Metro Regional Cross Country on Wednesday 15th June at Hasting's Foreshore. Sacred Heart wishes you all the best!

FRIDAY INTERSCHOOL SPORTS UPDATE

Grade 5/6 students completed their Interschool Sports this week, having played Netball & Football against some of the schools within the Dendy District.

Our final game was against St Joan of Arc with both teams representing Sacred Heart with pride.

We are now ready to send our top teams into the lightning premierships next week!

LIGHTNING PREMIERSHIPS

Next week our Grade 5/6 students will be participating in the Dendy Lightning Premierships for Soccer, Netball & AFL. These events have the opportunity for winners to advance through to the Beachside Division and further. Our AFL team will be returning as defending champions, so we will be looking to bring back the shield - as well as for the other sports.

If there are any parents or older siblings that are able to assist with umpiring/refereeing for Netball (badged) or Soccer, could they please contact Trent Thiessens
