From Mandy O'Mara

Dear Parents and Carers,

It’s certainly been a cold week in Melbourne; there have been days when the thermometer has struggled to reach double digits. On these cold days we have closely monitored the weather and allowed the students out to play only when it has not been raining. We have protocols and procedures in place to cater for wet days, which include students remaining inside and staff rostered on to supervise them. We know it’s important for students to get out and have time to run and play so we encourage them to dress appropriately for the cold weather.

Three onsite COVID-19 and influenza vaccination clinics are being held at schools in Whittlesea, on 16, 20 and 27 June. All community members of any age are welcome to receive a COVID-19 and/or flu vaccination at the clinics, and can walk in with no appointment required. Please see attached flyer.

This week our Year 3 students attended their first excursion for 2022. They spent the day at the Melbourne Museum and IMAC.  It was wonderful to see the majority of our Year 3 students participating in this event and hearing that they displayed our school values throughout the day.

Please remember we have 3 way conferences coming up in the last week of Term 2. Our staff and students are looking forward to sharing your child’s growth and achievements with you.

Kind regards,

Mandy O’Mara

Acting Principal.
