Students have been focussing on cooperative games. They worked on communication, team work and strategies to achieve positive results.
We also had a great time using the new Physical Education stereo to move to our favourite tunes.
Prep students watched a video showing children pretending using boxes, then talked about how they can pretend or act as something different. The students enjoyed playing with boxes themselves, there were trains, cars, presents, cubbies, and so much fun, when students used their imaginations to take part in dramatic role play.
Year 3 and 4 studied John Olsen, the great Australian landscape artist, known for his energetic painting style and landscapes. They gained inspiration from his images of the sun to create Aboriginal style PVA paintings.
Thank you to all the families who supported our new style BOOK FAIR at the end of term. It was a great success and we raised over $500.00 to purchase new books for the library. These will be ready to borrow soon.
SPECIAL thanks to the following families who purchased and donated a book from the "teacher wish list". BONIK, JANSEN, LIU, and NG families.
