The Festival Music
Do you love to dance or act? Would you like to perform at the Festival Theatre?
The Festival of Music is looking for expressions of interest for members of the Performance Troupes. This group of performers dance, act and sing along with a choir of over 400 students at the Festival Theatre.
The Performance Troupes are made up of students in Year 6 and 7 only. Year 5s are permitted to participate in the audition process for experience only. Boys are particularly encouraged to apply. You DO NOT need to be a member of choir to audition for Troupe.
TROUPE FACTS:
- There will be 2 Performance Troupes, each performing 6 concerts at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
- Weekly rehearsals are held at 2 locations across the metropolitan area:
- North - Enfield Primary on Tuesdays
- South – Hamilton Secondary College on Wednesdays
- Rehearsals are from 4.15 - 6.15 pm.
- Workshops will be held on Sundays as required.
- In Term 2, troupes will rehearse weekly from Week 3.
- Costumes and props will be provided. Students may be required to provide basic costume items such as body suits or tights.
