Term 1 -Week 8- OSHC News
During week 7 and 8 the children participated in activities that revolved around the focus of ‘Amazing Animals”. The children got to draw their favourite birds which included Toucans, flamingos, penguins and pelicans as well as challenging friends to see how many striped animals they could name and list. The children also took part in free choice activities such as making cubbies and spent valuable time constructing and problem solving how to design their cubby houses to maximize space and play areas. Outside the children spent time playing chasey on the playground and practicing their gymnastic skills on the oval.
New Child Care Package: Due to the New Child Care Package, parents will need to sign in and sign out at the exact time that their children arrive or leave the service. Our OSHC service is now required to provide Centrelink with the exact duration that each child attends the service in order for families to receive the child-care benefit.
April Vacation Care Program: is now available from the OSHC room, front office, attached below or online on the LNPS website. Come and join in the fun for these upcoming school holidays. If you wish to attend, be quick so you don’t miss out.
Absentees: Parents who have children attending OSHC but are absent from school or picked up early from school, need to notify the service by phone on 8443 5308 ASAP as we have children on the waiting list.
Just a reminder to parents to contact the service on 8443 5308, if their child(ren) are no longer attending their sessions. If both parents and caregivers cannot be reached the police will be contacted.
Active After School: If your child is going to attend an after school activity please notify the service in advanced. If our educators have not been notified by parent/caregiver children will not be allowed to leave the service.
Yearly Permanent Booking Forms 2018: Please make sure you have booked your child/ren into OSHC if you require the service for 2018. It is essential that parents, who need care for their children, fill in the yearly permanent booking form which can be collected from the OSHC room, front office or our website.
Emails: Emails to the Director will be only attended between the hours of 8.00am- 4.00pm on Monday to Friday. If the matter is urgent please contact the service between 7am-6.00pm on 8443 5308 or 0411 236 014
