Sacred Heart Swimming Program

Due to the terrible weather forecasted for the week, our children will be travelling by bus to Heather’s Swim School. Parents who have volunteered to help with a swimming group can meet the class at the pool or travel by bus with the children.

Colac Primary Schools Football/Netball Lightning Premiership

Last Friday many of our Year 5 and 6 students participated in the Colac Primary Schools Football/Netball Lightning Premiership. Our three netball teams had a great day with a few wins and a few losses. Our footballers also enjoyed the day and showcased many football skills. The Sacred Heart Black football team were the overall winners on the day and will now compete at the Greater Western Football Championships on Friday 17th June in Ballarat. A big thank you to Sally Montano who co-ordinated the Netball Lightning Premiership, we are very grateful for all her hard work. Thank you also to Kate Borch and Olivia Montano who worked with Sally to make sure that the day ran very smoothly. A big thank you to all the football and netball coaches and to the Trinity students who umpired on the day. You all did a fantastic job. Thanks also to the parents/grandparents who supported the event.  Go Sacred Heart!!

Just a reminder to all footballers and netballers can you please return your jumpers and dresses a.s.a.p.

Boys Netball

This Thursday, a group of boys in Years 5 and 6 will travel to St Mary’s to compete in netball. Our two boys sides will compete against the two St Mary’s teams. We will travel by bus to this event. We will leave Sacred Heart at 1.15 pm and return at approximately 3.00 pm. Boys need to wear their sports uniform and bring along their drink bottle. We wish the boys all the best.

Could parents please complete the permission form on PAM?
