ST NICHOLAS SCHOOL NETBALL CLUB

Dear Netball Families

It is our turn (yet again) to do duty this Saturday, 25th June. After this duty, we have one more in Term 3.

If your child plays at 11:50am, please consider coming earlier at 11.00am to help put out the pads and set up the umpiring table.  Many hands make light work and I appreciate the people that come and help every single time! I'll also need a few people to be on the umpire's table with me from 11:30-2pm. We can do half-hour shifts. Coaches will be in touch with you all to get names and times.

Thanks so much!

Emma Elliott

BASKETBALL

Congratulations to the St Nicholas School Dragonflies who were runners-up in the Year 5/6 Division A Girls last Thursday night.

If your child wishes to play in the Term 3/4 season please see Compass for details. If they are already playing they need to use the code from last season to register. If they are new to the game please email Mrs Tyrrell to be placed in a team and for details on how to register.

FIELD EVENT TRIALS

This term we have been lucky enough to have gained a Sporting Schools Grant for athletics. We will be having Jay Strong come into the school. Jay is a coach for Athletics Australia. He will be teaching all the children different athletics techniques such as running, long jump and high jump. He will be coming on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons so some classes may need to wear their sports uniform on a different day. Please see your class Facebook page and Compass notifications for these changes.
