KINDERGARTEN EISTEDDFOD
Today our Kindergarten students travelled to the Town Hall to compete in the Choral Verse Speaking section of the Tamworth Eisteddfod. The children recited 2 poems, 'The ABC' and 'I'm an Orchestra'.
A big congratulations to Kinder for being so well prepared and performing so well on the day. They came away with 3rd place and should be very proud of themselves. Thank you to their teachers for providing them with this worthwhile opportunity.
KINDERGARTEN'S FIRST EXCURSION
Last Friday, Kindergarten students travelled to St Nicholas Church with Mrs Dunst and the Kindergarten teachers. It was the first excursion for Kindergarten students; they were very excited to be riding on a bus and visiting the Church.
Fr Chris generously shared his time and knowledge of the church. Kindergarten students not only learned new things about the Church, but were able to share their knowledge with Fr Chris too. He was very impressed!!
It was a wonderful morning. We thank Fr Chris for his time and Mrs Dunst for organising this opportunity.

SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS
All parents need to be aware, our supervision of students
does not begin until 8.15am each day.
If your child/ren require care before 8.15am you have access to before school care here at school with Esteem Please organise alternative care for your child if your child requires supervision before 8.15am.
With before school care available to parents and with a duty of care to staff and students, St Nicholas School gates will not be open until the arrival of the first school bus at approximately 8.10am. It is not appropriate for children to be at school before this time with no supervision.
CROSSERS AND WALKERS
Please ensure that when your child/ren are on crossers and walkers you are out of your vehicle and waiting on the opposite side of the road from the school (in Carthage Street between Roderick and Hill Streets).
