State Final Runners up
Kildare competed in the state finals of the 9/10 All Schools, Girls Touch tournament in Sydney at Doyle fields, Parramatta. Twenty teams from across the State competed after all winning their regional finals. The girls scored 28 tries for and 9 against. (Tryscorers: Molly 5, Ella 3, Abby L 5, Maddie M 3, Lucy 1, Asha 2, Caitlin 1, Bella 4, Maddy H 1, Molly 2, Flynn 2, Gabby 1) We played Narabeen Sports High twice in the day as they were in our pool and also in the Grand Final. Unfortunately Narabeen scored in the last 10 seconds of the Grand Final to deny the girls the State title 1-0. As runners up though the team has qualified to attend the Australian School Championships in Caloundra later in the year.
"Team members: Flynn Hogg, Molly Antone, Gypsy Foster, Caitlyn Kelly, Bree Frazier, Gabby Clarke, Ella McFarlane, Maddie Morton, Molly Carter, Maddie Haggar, Bella McDermott, Lucy Anderson, Asha Murphy and Abby Lowe.
